Absolut Vodka is coming under fire in South Korea after one of its ads got political.
앱솔루트 보드카의 광고중 하나가 한국의 정치적이슈를 포함시켜 한국에서 화재다.
Just a day after South Korean President Park Geun-hye was officially impeached, the Sweden-based distiller released an ad for Absolut Korea on Saturday declaring “The Future is Yours to Create.”
박근혜대통령이 공식적으로 탄핵된지 하루가지나서 스웨덴 증류주 생산자,보드카가 "미래는 당신이 만드는것' 이란 타이틀로 광고를 공개하였다.
That phrase was laid over an image of thousands of street protesters holding candles, forming the shape of a distiller’s bottle.
저문구는 수천명의 길거리 탄핵시위자들이 촛불을 잡고 증류주 병모양으로 열을 맞추고 있는 잠깐동안의 모습을 담았다.
Critics on Facebook lambasted the company for using the protests as a commercial play. Others questioned whether Absolut understood the significance of the protests, and Park’s subsequent impeachment, for South Korea.
“What does a protest and vodka have to do with one another? Who were the targets of this ad?” a user named Won Yoneu asked in the comments.
어떤이들은 앱솔루트 기업이 탄핵시위의 중요성을 이해하고 있다고 한반면 페이스북에 보드카 기업광고에 대한 반대의견이 많다.
" 탄핵시위와 보드카가 무슨상관이 있는가? 누구를 위한 광고인가?" 사용자 원윤예가 이렇게 답했다.
“If this ad had been for the World Cup or a concert, it might’ve worked. But if they knew what this image represented, perhaps they wouldn’t have paired the image with alcohol,” another user, Jang Hyo-jin, commented.
"이것이 월드컵이나 콘서트 기간동안 이루어진 일이였다면 성공적이었을것이다. 하지만 사람들은 이 그림이 무엇을 의미하는지 알고있으며 알콜과의 연관성은 멀다고 생각한다." 다른 페이스북사용자 장효진의 답변이다.
